OUR STORY

Torna Circular Economy was born in 2021, with the purpose of treating industrial effluents in the food sector. supply of green hydrogen generated in the conversion of environmental liabilities.

*iH2Brasil is a realization of the Brazil-Germany Alliance for Green Hydrogen, formed by the Brazil-Germany Chambers of Commerce and Industry of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with support from the Brazil-Germany Cooperation through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ ) GmbH and the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).

Today, in addition to converting the environmental liability of industrial effluents, with the incentive of the IH2BRASIL acceleration program, the TORNA solution will be able to serve other sectors in the conversion of the environmental liability of waste into fertilizers and green hydrogen. Waste from slaughterhouses, dairy products and beverages can be transformed into an economic asset in the form of raw materials to be replaced in the production cycle. The company offers equipment through leasing, and soon, it will facilitate the connection between suppliers and buyers of raw materials and hydrogen, through a multilateral platform.

The company TORNA ECONOMIA CIRCULAR enters the market with an innovative technology, based on compact equipment, easy to manufacture and maintain, which allow water to be fully reused, generating results only achieved by more complex, larger and more expensive technologies. The transformation of effluents is carried out using the TORNA/TE Transformation of Effluents solution, while the transformation of solid waste is carried out by TORNA/TS Transformation of Solid Waste.

TORNA / TE - Wastewater Treatment

Differential

The TORNA/TE differential is the rapid transformation of effluents into water for reuse, and of solids into raw materials. Its direct integration with the company's production makes these resources available for its own consumption or commercialization. Conversion and operation data can be queried autonomously and online, and still generate green hydrogen “in any application”.

How it works

Our compact solution sterilizes water and separates solids from effluent quickly, without the use of chemicals. It is in this process that electrolysis occurs, which generates hydrogen and the first sedimentation of solids. The oxygen generated from the electrolysis is subjected to ozone for flotation of the second phase of sedimentation of solids and the process is completed by physical reactions. The entire operation of TORNA/TE can be monitored online and in real time.
